According to a report by Yonhap News Agency on April 9th, the South Korean Institute of Industry released the Manufacturing Prosperity Survey Index (BSI), which showed that the manufacturing market condition and sales outlook index in South Korea were 95 and 98 respectively in the second quarter of this year. Although the expected value is still below the benchmark line (100), it has improved compared to the first quarter (market condition 87, sales 88). From the perspective of specific industry sales prospects, batteries (118), shipbuilding (107), refining and wireless communication equipment (106), biology and fitness (105), displays (104), chemistry (101), and automobiles (100) all exceed the standard line.
